WHO WE ARE

Our Calgary physiotherapy and acupuncture clinic has been in operation since 1991 in this location with 26 years of physiotherapy experience. We are a family owned practice and currently have six employees on staff to provide you with a high standard of service. All of our employees are experienced, licensed professionals, and we are dedicated to your recovery.

WHAT WE DO On your first visit we will do an assessment of your case followed by a treatment program that combines any of our five services to put you on the road to recovery. The appointment usually takes 45 minutes to one hour for both. Subsequent visits are approximately 45 minutes.

We offer Physiotherapy, Medical Acupuncture and Orthotics, and we can also offer hypnotherapy through the Kensington Institute of Hypnotherapy – and all on the same premises for your convenience in Calgary’s Village  in a city, Kensington Village. Our staff is fully qualified to assess your situation and implement a treatment program designed specifically for your needs.

B.Sc.,B.Sc.P.T., Med.Acu., Reg.Acu. Gord has been owner of Kensington Physiotherapy & Acupuncture Clinic since 1991. He became a physiotherapist in 1988 and a Medical Acupuncturist through the U of A in 1994, with advanced training at the Beijing Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in China. Gord also provides orthotics via the Orthotics Group. Gord has volunteered his services as sole physiotherapist and acupuncturist for high performance curlers at several events including two Briers and several World Curling Tour events as well as the local Husky Autumn Gold.

Sugar Specialist, Trainer and Distributor for SUKAR Body

Co-owner, Manager, Sugar Specialist, Trainer, Distributor Jacki has been co-owner and office manager for Kensington Physiotherapy and Acupuncture since 1992. In 1996 Jacki changed career paths from Network Analyst with CIBC and started her own business as a Sugar Specialist, Trainer and Distributor for SUKAR Body Sugar. She enjoys a specialized sugar clientele and training others who wish to start their own independent home business.
